  • Author: Alice

Description

These Grilled Tropical Fruit Skewers take your fruit experience to the next level. Lightly charred and caramelized, they’re perfect for summer barbecues, poolside snacks, or as a sweet and healthy dessert.

Ingredients

Scale

1 ripe mango, diced into large chunks
1 cup watermelon, cubed
1 cup pineapple chunks
1 cup strawberries, halved
2 bananas, thickly sliced
1 lime, juiced
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon melted coconut oil
Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Wooden or metal skewers

Instructions

1. Prepare the Fruits: Start by washing and slicing all the fruits. Dice the mango into large chunks, cube the watermelon, slice the strawberries in half, and slice the bananas thickly.
2. Make the Dressing: In a small bowl, mix the lime juice, honey, and melted coconut oil.
3. Assemble the Skewers: Thread the fruit pieces alternately onto the skewers, ensuring a balanced mix.
4. Brush with Dressing: Lightly brush the assembled skewers with the prepared dressing to add flavor and aid in caramelization.
5. Grill the Skewers: Heat the grill to medium-high. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until the fruits show grill marks and become slightly caramelized.
6. Serve: Garnish with fresh mint leaves and serve immediately for a warm, tropical delight.
