Ingredients
– 1 large block of Velveeta cheese
– 1 8oz block of cream cheese
– 1 can of cream of chicken soup
– 1 can of Rotel tomatoes with chilies
– 2.25 pounds ground beef
– 1 box of bowtie pasta
– 1 cup reserved pasta water (optional for thinning sauce)
Instructions
1. Set your crock pot to high heat.
2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
3. Add the cooked beef to the crock pot.
4. Cube the Velveeta and cream cheese, then add them to the crock pot along with the cream of chicken soup and Rotel tomatoes.
5. Cover and cook on high for about 1.5 hours, stirring occasionally until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
6. Meanwhile, cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain, reserving a cup of pasta water if desired.
7. Add the cooked pasta to the crock pot mixture, stirring to combine. If the sauce appears too thick, gradually add reserved pasta water until desired consistency is reached.
8. Serve hot and enjoy the cheesy goodness!
