– 2 ripe pears, cored and thinly sliced
– 4 cups mixed greens such as arugula, spinach, and romaine
– 1/2 cup crumbled Roquefort cheese or any blue cheese
– 1/4 cup candied walnuts or pecans
– 1/4 cup dried figs or apricots, chopped (optional)
– 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced (optional)

For the Dressing:

– 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
– 1 tablespoon pomegranate molasses or balsamic vinegar
– 3 tablespoons olive oil
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 1 teaspoon cumin or ground coriander for a hint of spice


Instructions

1. Prepare the Ingredients:
– Wash and dry the mixed greens.
– Core and thinly slice the pears.

2. Make the Dressing:
– In a small bowl, whisk together honey or maple syrup, pomegranate molasses or balsamic vinegar, olive oil, cumin or ground coriander, salt, and pepper until well combined.

3. Assemble the Salad:
– In a large salad bowl, combine mixed greens, sliced pears, crumbled Roquefort cheese, candied walnuts or pecans, and chopped dried figs or apricots if using.
– Add sliced red onion if desired.

4. Dress the Salad:
