Ingredients

– 1 large seedless watermelon
– 1 medium seedless watermelon
– 1 small seedless watermelon
– 1 cup strawberries, hulled and halved
– 1 cup blueberries
– 1 cup raspberries
– 1 cup green or red grapes, halved
– Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
– Toothpicks or skewers (optional, for securing the layers)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Watermelons:
– Slice off the top and bottom of each watermelon to create flat surfaces.
– Cut the large watermelon into a thick round slice, about 4-5 inches thick, for the bottom layer.
– Cut the medium watermelon into a slightly thinner round slice, about 3-4 inches thick, for the middle layer.
– Cut the small watermelon into a round slice, about 2-3 inches thick, for the top layer.
– Trim the rind from each round slice, leaving a smooth, even edge.

2. Assemble the Watermelon Layers:
– Place the largest watermelon round on a serving platter as the base.
– Carefully stack the medium watermelon round on top of the base, centering it.
– Place the smallest watermelon round on top, creating a tiered effect.
– If needed, secure the layers by inserting toothpicks or skewers through the center of the cake to hold them together. Remove before serving.

3. Decorate with Berries & Grapes:
– Arrange the halved strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and grape halves around the base of each layer to create a colorful and decorative border.
– Add extra berries and grapes on top of the cake, cascading down the sides for an elegant presentation.
– Garnish with fresh mint leaves for an extra pop of color and flavor.

4. Serve:
– Chill the cake in the refrigerator for 15-30 minutes before serving to keep it fresh and cool.
– Slice and serve this refreshing and eye-catching Berry Layered Watermelon Delight, perfect for any festive summer event!

Notes

– For added flavor, drizzle with light honey or agave syrup before adding the berries and grapes.
– Customize with your favorite berries or other fresh fruits like kiwi or mango.
– Best served fresh but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 day.
